Adithada

This martial art originating from tamilnadu and largely practiced in south kerala, tamilnadu and shri lanka. Adithada (Adi+thada) means hitting and block. It has both grappling and striking concepts with detailed study of pressure point. Its practice use bare knuckles, knees, elbows, feet and forehead.

Aki Kiti

This is a sport and kicking art. This is practiced in Nagaland at tribal ceremonies. This is a unique art in the way frighten kick, in this art only feets are permitted to be used.

Gatka

Gatka is a martial art playing by Sikhs, they perform this art particularly on Guru-purab in nagar kirtan. Gatka was useless without Gurbani either fighting in battle or self defense. It is not only played by Sikhs, but many earlier professionals of this art proved gatka for centuries.

Inbuan Wrestling

Mall Yudh

It is a traditional form of combat wrestling, during palwa period this art reached it zenith in tamilnadu. It same as western wrestling to participate in the tournament many mallas went to shri Lanka during mid chola period.

Mukna

It is form of wrestling of Manipur, it is famous in Bhishanpur, Imphal and Thoubal. It is art of the ceremonial functions and played on the last day of the lai haraoba. Before the matches begins every competitors begins each other belts known ningiri.

Niyuddha Kride

Nihyuddha is best and Indian Martial art of the world. It is origin point of Judo, Wrestling and kick boxing etc. It is called Nihyuddha Kride. It was originated in satya yug. It is most effective method to protect himself from attackers.

Silambam is a stick fighting art based on bamboo staff, this art used by the local people to defend themselves from arrival or bandits. The solid staff is approximately 5 ½ in length and 2” in diameter.
